The goal of this course is to develop NRA Certified Range Safety Officers (RSOs) who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to supervise safe shooting range operations and conduct live-fire range activities with confidence and professionalism.

This 9-hour, non-shooting certification course includes both classroom and hands-on range instruction. It is designed to fully prepare you to serve as an RSO, with a focus on safety, structure, and situational awareness.
You will learn how to confidently oversee live-fire activities and ensure safety protocols are followed on any range, whether you’re volunteering at your local club or managing formal shooting events.
